It ...I definitely agree that a warmup is necessary. It kind of tricks the muse into thinking nothing onerous is going to happen. (Probably similar to tricking Fluffy the cat into the car for a trip to the vet. LOL) <br /><br />And I love your thoughts about those momentous "day before" or "hour before" events. It makes me think about my own characters in a different light -- how they want things to change, but maybe things change in a way they weren't expecting, or hoping for. Great food for thought!
